The Institute of Financial Planning

The Instutute of Financial Planning the professional body for those that are comitted to the profession of financial planning in the UK.

It's purpose it the promote the profession of financial planning to the general public and to those involved in advising clients.

The Institute was formed in 1986 and in 1995 it earned the right to award the CFP^CM and Certified Financial Planner^CM designations in the UK, by exclusive licence by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards Inc. in the United States.
