Frequently Asked Questions
How would your services benefit me?
By helping you add to the quality of your life through better planning of your investments and of your business, financial and tax arrangements. Some people feel their lives have become unbalanced and that they are not enjoying the quality of life they desire.
They have assets but insufficient cash; the fun has gone out of much of what they do and they feel a need to develop their lives in a slightly different way. We can help.
What sort of people do you advise?
Most clients are company directors, members of the professions or private investors. Although many are entrepreneurs, some are very cautious investors. Most plan to be financially independent and want their families to be secure in the event of their death or disablement. They want to minimise their tax liabilities and have a good standard of living with a strong capital base, high income and sufficient quality time to enjoy the fruits of their labour.
Will you be willing to work with my other advisers?
Most definitely we aim to have the friendliest of relationships with other professional advisers and to work actively with them so that clients receive the full benefit of each adviser’s special expertise. One of our functions is to co-ordinate the help available and to bring everything together in a comprehensive plan which can be implemented in a sensible and structured manner as circumstances permit.
How much time will you need to look after me?
As an individual you may need as little as one meeting each year whereas a corporate client may need a meeting once a month or once a quarter.
Do you deal with estate planning matters?
Yes. We can help you minimise Inheritance Tax and can also set up trust funds to provide tax sheltered benefits for your children and grandchildren. If you wish to provide support for charities we can arrange this and can also help you set up your own charitable foundation.
